ELM FORK Shooting Sports is nestled in the heart of the Metroplex.  We are conveniently located between our two major airports, DFW and Love Field.  Our facility is a 467 acre entertainment center for shotgun, rifle and pistol.

Our Facilities

ELM FORK Shooting Sports features include 3 5-Stands, 1 ATA trap, 1 Wobble Trap, 6 Skeet fields, 6 Practice traps set up for new shooters and beginners, 2 (12 Station) 100 target sporting clay courses "Woods" and "Meadows"  The woods course features a elevated duck blind 'the red pickup truck" and our 107ft tower for some great over head shots. We have 30 Golf Carts for shooters to travel from station to station like playing golf with a shotgun.

Our  pistol range is open for paper targets (25 yard bays) and reactionary steel.  4 reactionary steel bays are now open. Tactical / Law Enforcement is also open for private rental and law enforcement use

The 100 yard rifle range is now open

Education

We have an excellent staff of qualified & certified instructors who can teach the beginner, intermediate, or advanced student.  Check out the Lessons section or give us a call for more information!

Texas Parks and Wild Life Hunter Education

Elm FORK Shooting Sports offers hunter education classes by certified instructor Jeanie Almond with Assistants Jamie Rommell and Burt Almond.  The classes are 10 hours over 2 days covering ethics, game management conservation, outdoor skills, gun safety, hunting skills highlighting shotgun.  Students shoot shotguns for practical shooting experience.  Firearm education includes shotgun, rifle, pistol, and archery.

We believe in the family and encourage families to enjoy hunting and the outdoors together.  Education of our youth creates the future for all venues for shooting sports.  Students must be 12 years of age to certify, but kids are welcome to take the class for safety training before turning 12.

Is your group looking for something different in outdoor activities?  Experience the fun and excitement of Recreational Shotgun Sports through a corporate and/or charity fundraising event.  You supply your group and we do the rest!
