Awesome range run by awesome people! No membership fees like a lot of places in the area, and good prices. The Woods Course is a great way to relax, and the range has been able to arrange accommodations for special needs (like reserving the range for a high speed camera and a watermelon) Also the only range in the area where I was told I may use my 12ga, #8-shot chemical tracers (the non-incendiary kind), great skeet training aide. I can't think of a better range in the DFW area!

What a great experience for a corporate function, men and women competing equally shooting clays. The instructors are excellent and we loved the layout and golf carts! Thank you, we will be back!

Been shootin' at this place since July 1968 and met Sam then. Would love to see Sam have classes on reloading and I'll even chip in my share too. Can't lose with what Scott and Jeannie have done with this wonderful place. Now all I need is a helicopter pad someday. HA! Can't lose either with Sam Laden Sam Moore, Devon, Luis, Jeff, Chris and who'd I miss. Ken Russell

Thanks to Sam for the great lesson today! My first time shooting a Pistol was first assisted by one of the range supervisors (sorry, can't remember his name) and then reinforced and expanded upon in the 1:1 lesson I decided to take after hours. Great place and the staff were awesome. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am in TX.

A friend brought me out here when I was in Dallas for my birthday. Damn. All I could think was "why doesn't my city have a place like this". Had a great time on the reactive steel targets. Would have loved to bring my AR to see the rifle range. Will definitely make a trip here when I head back to Dallas.

i love this facility. as a junior shooter and a competitive shooter its very easy to train. they have helped me make junior Olympics and national championships

I've used this facility for everything (sporting clays, pistol, and rifle) and love going there for a 1/2 or even full day. I agree with Ruiz....a rifle range greater than 100 yards would be great as most of my hunting takes place at distances greater than 200 yards. Also, letting Sam hold a course for us that want to learn hand loading our rifle cartridges would be greatly appreciated. He's very knowledgable and personable with that "old timers" since of humor.

I have been shooting here since about 1983-84. (back with the previous owners). this place is awesome and always has been. got my kids and wife shooting here now too and everyone loves it. I have been to other ranges both inside and out but always come back here.

Fantastic facilities! Sporting clay is a personal favorite! Any chance the rifle range might ever grow to include a 500 yard extension? My scope would love it! Great team-Keep up the great work!

This is definitely not a one timer place to go, once you go there, you will be addicted to this place and that's because of the very nice, friendly and professional staff...my son has got his lesson by a wonderful instructor "Devin" who made my son's shooting with M16, unforgetable lifetime experience..he's been very encouraging and very through with the way he is teaching.. This is a nice, safe and friendly place for the whole family to have a great time and unforgetable experience

I just want to give kudos to the staff-I have been out several times since finding this place last Winter and each time the staff has been great: range officers are sticklers for enforcing range safety (which is a good thing-dead is not good)without being confrontational, condescending,or jerks like some other ranges in the area. Great facility.

I've never yet had a bad visit to Elm Fork *knock on wood* Honestly, I keep trying to make it down there more often than I do, but between ammo and gas prices, I can only make it a monthly adventure at best. Anyway, my only problem with the range is the fact that the tac bay tends to get flooded when it rains, but there's nothing can be done about that, so I just adjust my shooting schedule around it. Keep up the good work Elm Fork!
